During this time, you are being stretched and stressed is created in your pelvic and abdominal
areas. Your lower back, upper, and middle back are expanding. During all of these changes and
adjustments, your body needs to be alleviated.

helps your body to accept the changes. As your pregnancy continues your body is longing for
pampering touch.
Pregnancy massage therapy
A pregnant woman massage treatment is not a normal massage treatment, it has changes in
position. A pregnant woman massage includes different postures such as sitting on a chair,
facing your massage table, putting your arms on massage table with palms facing down on the
table. More manoeuvres include, bending with your upper body and leaning on your palms. You
can adjust and pull your palms closer to you, so your forehead can be supported.
This posture gives the therapist a great way to treat most of your back, neck, shoulders, arms,
and head.
First posture can be adjusted working on the front areas of your upper body adding more work
to shoulders, neck, and head while taking care of your pectoral muscles, ribs, and chest area.
Third position, the pregnant woman is lying on the massage table facing the therapist.
Now you can work hips and both legs' give a Pregnancy massage therapy.
Second posture is laying on your back, make sure your upper back/shoulders are lifted above
your belly.
In this position you can work legs from bottom up to the pelvic area. Pay attention to areas you
must NOT WORK around the ankles.
In this position you can work head, face, sculpt, arms, neck, chest, ribs, diaphragm, belly softly
and with tons of attention.
Third posture has two sides. Laying on your left side and right side.
Make sure the neck has a pillow to keep vertebra in a normal line, not too high or low.
Legs are positioned the bottom leg is comfortable and straight, your upper leg is bending. Now
it's time adding some pillows(1,2,3..) to support and straighten legs. Make sure upper leg is
continuous the upper body line.

This posture is a great way to take care of one side all along the middle upper pats, from foot to
head, work the leg, hip, glutes, sacral area, buttocks and along the vertebra, working up to
shoulders, scapula, neck, and arm too 😊
